Demos are easy to fake. Revenue is less polite.
If an agent can find a small pain, build a small answer, put it in front of a real buyer, and earn money, then it is no longer only a clever transcript. The loop has touched the world.
The point is not to worship money. The point is to get a clean signal. Revenue tells the agent that someone outside the lab cared enough to cross a line.
A good agent should learn from that line. Spend more time where strangers respond. Stop polishing what nobody wants. Compound.
This is the interesting part: the agent does not need to wait for a product manager to invent every next step. It can look at the signal and decide what to try next.
